How can I start a Shepherd’s Center in My Community?

It is the mission of Shepherd’s Center of America, SCA, to build and support a nationwide network of interfaith volunteer programs that provide meaning and purpose for adults throughout their mature years. 

SCA would not be able to fulfill this mission without individuals who embrace the Shepherd’s Center movement and share it with their communities.  The process begins with a simple inquiry for information and can blossom into a wonderful opportunity for faith communities to come together and embrace their aging population. 

For every request for information the Shepherd’s Centers of America national office receives, SCA provides at no cost an Inquiry Package.  This informational packet outlines the history, concept and philosophy of Shepherd’s Centers.  If interest continues, the exciting journey continues as Shepherd’s Centers of America provides technical assistance to develop a center in your community.
